👋 Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Running a business often means juggling ideas, responsibilities, and being in constant motion. The Full Moon every month is a time of illumination, where you can set your intentions on getting perspective on what’s working, what needs adjustment, and where to direct your next effort.
In this series, you’ll find astrology written for business owners, creative professionals, and entrepreneurs. Each post explores the symbolism of the Moon, key planetary influences, and a short ritual custom designed for the full moon.
Full Moons mark a time of culmination and perspective. Emotions often rise to the surface, and something that’s been building becomes easier to see or understand. The increased light at night symbolizes the illumination that can accompany the full moon, bringing awareness, as the light shines into the darkness.
Each lunar cycle highlights the transiting relationship between the Sun and the Moon. At the New Moon, they meet in the same degree and sign. At the Full Moon, they stand opposite one another across the zodiac. These opposing sign pairs appear twice each year, giving us repeated chances for self-work, development, and growth.
The Leo Full Moon is in the sign of creative self-expression, with the Sun shining from across the zodiac in Aquarius. This polarity highlights the relationship between individuality and collective life. It often highlights the tension between standing out and fitting in, personal pride and group ideals, and the desire to be seen alongside the need to participate in something larger than yourself.

Leo Full Moon and Aquarius Sun
A Full Moon often feels like emotional volume being turned up for a few days. People react more quickly, say what they’ve been holding back, or realize they’re tired of bottling up what has been building over time. You might notice impatience, pride, frustration, or a stronger need to be seen or understood. It isn’t dramatic for everyone, but it does tend to bring to light what needs to be expressed.
This Full Moon highlights the axis of Leo and Aquarius, with the Moon in Leo opposite the Sun in Aquarius. Together, these two signs reflect a familiar tension between personal expression and collective awareness, between being authentic and staying aware of how your ideas and ideals affect others and the larger systems you’re part of.
Leo reflects the urge to create, express, and lead, driven by the passion of the heart. It thrives on creative output, pride, and recognition. Leo wants to feel that its creative effort has an impact and is genuinely accepted by others.
Aquarius reflects a wider collective view. It focuses on ideas, innovation, and how individual contributions fit into a broader context. Aquarius is motivated by progress and improvement, often asking how something can serve more than one person or support a shared goal.
This opposition highlights two ends of the same spectrum. Leo asks, “What am I creating, and how does it express who I am?” Aquarius asks, “How does this effort contribute to the collective?”
Leo engages with the world through confidence, creativity, and magnetism. Aquarius engages through originality, logic, and vision. One leads with heart. The other leads with the mind. One seeks fulfillment through personal expression and shared enthusiasm. The other seeks fulfillment through innovation and collective purpose.
For small business owners and creatives, this Full Moon often reflects questions around recognition and contribution. Where are you asking to be acknowledged for your work? Where are you being asked to consider how your role fits within a larger audience, network, or community?
Here are some questions to sit with over the next few days under the Full Moon:
Where do I want my work to be recognized or appreciated?
How does what I’m creating contribute beyond my personal goals?
Am I balancing self-expression with responsibility to others?
Where might I need to step into the spotlight, or step out of it?
The Leo–Aquarius polarity reminds us that personal expression and collective contribution are connected. Creativity gains strength when it has context. Vision gains impact when it has heart.
Leo Full Moon: Modality and Element
The Full Moon in Leo carries the energy of fire, which operates through instinct, drive, and inspired creativity. Fire signs act first and intuit their way forward, responding to what excites, motivates, or sparks passion. In Leo, this fire is focused on creative expression, confidence, and personal pride in what you’re building. Leo is a fixed sign, which gives this Full Moon staying power. Feelings are not fleeting. What surfaces now tends to be tied to long-standing efforts, loyalties, or creative investments that you’ve poured yourself into over time.
Fixed fire holds its ground. It sustains energy rather than scattering it, which can feel empowering when you’re committed to a direction, but frustrating when something no longer feels aligned. Under a Leo Full Moon, emotions tend to gather around recognition, creative ownership, and the desire to stand confidently behind what you’ve created. It can feel like standing on a stage you’ve already built and deciding whether the role you’re playing still fits.
The Sun in Aquarius brings in the element of air, which operates through ideas, logic, and perspective. Air signs process experience mentally, looking for patterns, systems, and solutions. Aquarius is fixed air, giving it focus, consistency, and a strong attachment to ideals. While Leo’s fire is personal and expressive, Aquarius’ air is strategic and future-oriented, asking how ideas circulate, connect, and impact a wider group.
With both the Moon and Sun in fixed signs, this Full Moon emphasizes commitment and conviction over a few days. Neither side is quick to bend. Fire wants to express and claim. Air wants to observe and improve. Together, they create a period where emotional expression and intellectual distance coexist. It’s a time to notice where you’re standing firm out of integrity, and where rigidity may be preventing growth or dialogue.
Sun: Leo Full Moon Ruler
The Sun rules Leo, which gives this Full Moon added weight. Once a year, the Full Moon falls in the Sun’s own sign, placing the Sun in the opposite sign. It creates a natural mirror, where insight often comes through other people, conversations, and situations that reflect something back to you. What you notice in others may point directly to something you’re learning about yourself.
At this Full Moon, the Sun is in Aquarius and sits at the center of a broader stellium spread across the sign. It’s positioned between two sets of planets. On one side are Mars and Pluto, whose recent conjunction has stirred intensity, pressure, and strong reactions. That influence is easing now, but the aftereffects remain. On the other side are Venus and Mercury, bringing values, relationships, and conversations into focus. The Sun stands in the middle, acting like a balancing point between action and restraint, desire and consequence, expression and reflection.
This placement can feel like being caught between impulses. Part of you may want to push forward, assert yourself, or act quickly. Another part may be weighing the impact of your words, your choices, or how others are involved. The Sun here highlights awareness. It sheds light on how you engage with people who think differently, want different things, or challenge your usual way of operating.
Conversations may point to where your values align with others, and where they don’t. You may notice patterns in group dynamics, collaborations, or client relationships that help you see your role more clearly.
With the Sun ruling this Full Moon, attention naturally turns toward understanding yourself through contrast. Insight comes through interaction, dialogue, and paying attention to what you learn through feedback and social exchange.
Leo Shadow Work and Self-Development
Leo energy at its best brings creative confidence, generosity, and a strong sense of personal pride in what you’re building. There is joy in sharing your work, pleasure in being fully engaged with it, and motivation from knowing that your effort reflects who you are. When Leo energy is flowing well, creative expression feels natural and energizing, and recognition feels like a welcome response rather than an entitlement.
When Leo’s shadow is active, recognition can become a constant need. Pride can slide into ego, and confidence can tip into arrogance. Attention may feel owed.
When appreciation is present, the energy softens, it purrs. When recognition feels absent or insufficient, the tone can shift fast, to irritation, defensiveness, or even a roaring need to be seen and validated. Praise can feel disproportionately important, while silence or neutral responses may feel personal. The issue isn’t the work itself. It’s how closely identity has become tied to how that work is received.
This shadow often shows up as hogging the spotlight, talking over others, steering every conversation back to personal achievements, or needing to be the main character in the room. It can carry a condescending edge, as if others should already understand the value being offered. Underneath it is a fragile spot, the fear of being overlooked, replaced, or dismissed.
Under this Leo Full Moon, take a moment to check in with yourself.
Where am I tying my sense of worth too closely to how others respond to my work?
What am I holding onto out of pride that could benefit from flexibility?

Leo Full Moon Symbol: The Lion
The Lion represents Leo’s regal nature and its instinct to stand tall in what it has created. This symbol reflects pride earned through effort, courage that comes from conviction, and a natural sense of dignity. The Lion does not rush or second-guess its place. It knows its strength and carries itself with confidence that doesn’t need explanation.
The Lion’s presence is magnetic rather than forceful. It draws attention by being fully embodied, comfortable in its own skin, and unapologetic about taking up space. This reflects Leo’s connection to creative identity and personal expression. There is pride in ownership, in claiming what is yours and standing behind it with regal composure.
Theme and Aspects: Leo Full Moon and the Aquarius Stellium
This Full Moon is strongly shaped by the Aquarius stellium opposite the Moon in Leo. The Moon highlights personal expression, pride, and the desire to be seen for who you are and what you bring to the table. The full moon is always receiving its light from the Sun, which is in the center of a concentration of planets in Aquarius, shifting attention toward group dynamics, shared goals, and questions about what serves the collective.
The Sun sits right in the middle of several planets spread across Aquarius, positioned between Mars and Pluto on one side, and Venus and Mercury on the other. Mars and Pluto were recently conjunct in Aquarius and are now separating after a few days of pressure, strong reactions, and intensity around action, control, or pushing for change. That energy is easing, but it hasn’t disappeared entirely, and with the state of the world, it’s unlikely to go away. You may still notice aftereffects in conversations, actions, or emotional responses that feel charged.
Venus and Mercury in Aquarius pull attention toward how you connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas within groups. This can show up as questioning established ways of working together, experimenting with different roles, or gravitating toward people and projects that think outside the usual rules. Conversations may lean toward big-picture ideas, shared values, or future-oriented plans, especially where technology, networks, or collective platforms are involved. There can be excitement around new approaches, alongside firmness around ideals that feel non-negotiable.
You may feel proud of your work and clear about what you want to express, while at the same time feeling pressure to adapt, respond, or soften your stance to meet external expectations. This creates a real tension point for individuals. For business owners and creatives, this often plays out through client feedback, group dynamics, or collaborative decisions, especially when your personal vision doesn’t line up neatly with what others want or expect from you.
Individual expression may feel out of step with group expectations, or personal needs may feel overshadowed by collective concerns.
Over these few days, the opposition between the Leo Moon and the Aquarius stellium can create a steady push between holding your position and adapting to group realities. With both signs fixed, opinions and preferences may feel set rather than flexible. Fire wants to act from conviction and personal pride, while air wants to stay aligned with ideas, principles, and the wider system. Pay attention to where standing firm protects what you’ve built, and where adjusting your approach helps you stay connected without losing yourself.

Leo Full Moon Ritual: The Pride Within
This simple ritual focuses on your internal creative fire, the part of you that creates, expresses, and inspires ideas. Like sitting near a warm fire on a chilly day, it’s an opportunity to bask in the glow of inspiration by acknowledging what you’ve created.
What you’ll need
A candle, fire pit, fireplace, or a fire-safe alternative like a crackling fireplace video
A notebook or notes app
Five uninterrupted minutes
How to do it
Light a candle or sit near a source of fire. If the weather allows, do this outside by a fire pit or fireplace. If not, a fire video with sound works well.
Set a timer for five minutes.
Open your notebook or notes app.
Write this sentence at the top of the page: “The creations I am proud of in my life are…”
Write continuously until the timer ends. Don’t edit, organize, or judge. Let the words come from your heart and gently push away any thoughts to debate, erase, or edit as you write. There is no right or wrong. You want to let out anything you are proud of.
When the timer ends, stop. Read your list and feel proud!
Feel the warmth and energy of the fire surround you with the proud self-love. Think of a time when you felt most loved, and let that feeling surround you. Carry that feeling with you as you go about your day.
Keep this list somewhere safe, your journal, a dedicated folder, or a notes app you return to. Read it when you want a boost of inspiration and a reminder of how much you have created.
Mantra
Repeat this aloud or silently before you close the ritual:
‘I honor what I create and the creative fire within me.’
Optional Vision Board Activity: Create a Pride Vision Board, a collection of images, words, or symbols that reflect your creations and the pride you feel about them.
A note on creativity
Creativity isn’t limited to art. It includes anything created or manifested from your inner spark. A business idea or workflow. A PowerPoint. A solution to a problem. A system you designed. A relationship you nurtured. A child. A piece of writing. Leo's creativity is about creation that carries your signature, your imprint.
