Astrology is a Road Map
I remember when I was 29 and living in New York City. It was one of those really wet and cold winters and I just knew something big was going to change. Luckily, I was studying astrology and knew it was the time of my first Saturn Return. It was a doozy, but I realized Saturn was demanding I take more responsibility for the direction of my life. So I did, I packed up everything I owned and moved to California to start a new life.
Now, not everyone is going to pack up and move across the country when they have their Saturn Return around the age 29, but I do know that many people find this time to be significant in some way. That’s an example of the kind of stuff we talk about in a Consultation.
Using Astrology to navigate the path in front of you is smart. Understanding the flow of nature through the planets can ease that feeling of unknowing. Astrology helps you navigate and make sense of the flow of your life.

About Me
I enjoy Astrology so much I want to do it all the time! To me it is complex, profound, historical, intellectual, mystifying, fascinating, never ending, insightful, and fun. I have learned that there are different kinds of astrology and different kinds of astrologers. We are a diverse group full of seekers and intellectuals who are rarely boring and occasionally a little wacky.
I grew up in a really small town in Illinois and went to the big city at the ripe age of 18. I lived in Chicago, Philadelphia PA, New York City NY, Palm Springs and San Diego CA. In 2018 I moved to Rome, Italy and now I go back and forth between the US to see my friends and family, and Rome where I launched my online freelance life as a Professional Astrologer.
My dive into Astrology started in 1994, using astrology for self-help. I used to say all the time that Astrology was my therapy. I followed the stars as I worked through two careers, one in the entertainment industry creating cool events for Warner Bros. and the other in psychology becoming a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. Those years taught me a lot about life, love, work, and learning. In line with many astrological events taking place in my chart, I decided to change careers once again and follow my heart to become a Professional Astrologer.
Experienced
In the 14 years I practiced as a licensed counseling therapist I really enjoyed helping people. It was obvious to me how helpful Astrology could be in the counseling room. I decided to leave the formal counseling room for mental health disorders and into this astrology service where I can use my skills to help people reach their goals, move along the path of self-discovery, and move with the timing flow of the universe.
I do not approach an Astrology consultation like a therapy session, as they are certainly not the same thing, and I am not providing mental health therapy, only counseling utilizing astrology. However, I do bring my listening and reflection skills with me.
I have experience working with diverse people of all ages, color, ethnicity, language, gender identity, and socioeconomic status. I respect others’ beliefs, and strive to be fair, compassionate, and understanding.
Inclusivity is a value of mine and I hope that if you choose me to be your Astrologer you will feel accepted for who you are. Astrology is my passion and I feel so lucky to be able to offer my services as a professional astrologer to you. Astrology has helped me on my path, I hope it can help you on yours.
Technique and Training
Like many astrologers I started learning with the material that was readily available in the 90s and early 2000s, which was modern and more focused on psychology and internal growth. In 2015 I discovered that a number of ancient texts had been translated to English in the 1980s through the amazing work of Project Hindsight. At that point I immediately and intensely started studying what is called Traditional Astrology and incorporating these techniques into my practice.
I utilize the traditional rulers, meaning Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, Scorpio is ruled by Mars, and Pisces is ruled by Jupiter. I still work with the outer planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, in transits and natal aspects, for example. I use the Whole House System. I work with Essential and Accidental Dignity, Secondary Progressions, Lunar Phase Progressions, Firdaria, Solar Returns, and Transits.
