Gemini Sign Ritual: The Twin Candles
A Gemini New Moon can leave your mind busy and pulled in a lot of directions at once. This ritual is simple and only takes a few minutes, perfect for an evening during the Gemini New Moon.
Step 1: Quiet Space.
Find a quiet space and light two candles in front of you.
Step 2: Left Candle.
The left candle represents where your mind has been scattered or pulled in too many directions lately. The other represents where you want your focus to go. As you look at the left candle, think about what's been taking up mental space without giving you much in return.
Step 3: Right Candle.
Shift your attention to the second candle and think about the idea, project, or conversation you'd most like to focus on. Something important to you.
Step 4: Release.
Blow out the first candle and envision all the scattered thoughts losing energy, and all the mental energy required to think about them dissipates.
Step 5: Focus.
Gaze at the candle on the right, the lit flame. Hold your focus there. Concentrate on the one idea, project, or conversation you want to give more attention to. See it in your mind's eye. What questions do you have? Is your curiosity sparked? How so? What excites you about taking action on the next steps?
